Historic exhibition on the Great War curated by the Historical Cultural Association South Front 7 Municipalities
At 17.00 on Sunday, August 4, 2019,at the Cinema Teatro Palladio in Cesuna,the opening of the historical-themed exhibition entitled "The Eyes of theGreatWar" will be held, curated by Stefano Aluisini Ezio Avaldi and Roger Dal Molin.
The exhibition, organized with the collaboration of UNUCI Sez. of Brescia, Committee Memories of Stone of the Great War (Bologna), Municipality of Roana, ASC Front South Plateau Seven Municipalities (Cesuna), Library "M. Rigoni Stern" (Cesuna), Ass. Conteiner (Camporovere), , will be open and open daily, from 2.30pm to 7pm,until 23 August 2019.
It is an exhibition that brings together 50 large-format photographs from different public and private collections, which focus on the looks of men and women from all over Europe, who experienced the tragic events firsthand of the Great War.
The exhibition is now in its third edition after that of Brescia - Palazzo della Loggia (November 4, 2018) and Urago d'Oglio - Villa Zoppola (BS), events created in collaboration with the Historical Archive Dal Molin of Bassano del Grappa and the Union National Officers on Leave of Italy - Section of Brescia.
The same curator has also created the related photographiccatalogue, available on display as well as at the "Mario Rigoni Stern" Library in Cesuna, which - along with other recent publications such as "Postcards fromthe Front " and "Mount Lemerle", will allow further publicity of the historical research work carried out by the Southern Front Association.
