META: Malga Bosco Secco – Asiago and Seven Municipalities Plateau (VI)
Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Canove and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
During this guided hike you will immerse yourself in wonderful fir and larch forests that leave room for numerous clearings grazed by sheep.
The path runs along numerous trenches and battlefields, traces of the history of these places, which tell stories of the Great War, but also of Partisans and which mix the history of the First and Second World Wars, panoramas never seen by most of the visitors to our mountains.
Step by step, along paths full of surprises and curiosities, with views from particular perspectives, you arrive in one of the most hidden corners of the Seven Municipalities: Malga Bosco Secco.
Although far from the town, it is an endowment of Canove di Roana, whose Pro Loco every year in mid-August makes it available to old and new friends who want to celebrate together.
A convivial moment where you can meet other mountain lovers, locals and holidaymakers, good food and lots of fun. A real festive occasion awaits you!

The cost of lunch (€ 25) must be paid directly on site to the pro loco.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging) The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
