Rotzo, on the Asiago plateau, we celebrate the traditional "Festa della patata di Rotzo", now at 41st Edition.
The Rotzo potato Festival returns to theAsiago plateau, as usual, during the first weekend of September: from 1 to 3 July 2017.
The event will take place in the most anticipated gourmet Rotzo and reached this year its 41st Edition, a historic achievement for this festival that attracts many people from the Plains and plateau.
Activities and games for kids, food stand with dumplings and other potato dishes and typical products, entertainment, live music and dance: a large party aimed at audiences of all ages.
We emphasize that the food stand will be active during all three days.
THE ROTZO POTATO
The Rotzo potato, typical of the territory of Rotzo, one of the 8 municipalities ofthe Asiago plateau, is a popular potato varieties and is the main ingredient in delicious dishes such as dumplings, delicious especially if topped with the traditional topping of butter, cinnamon and sugar and so-called polenta considers, flat plateau typical prepared with potatoes, flour, onion, lard , grated cheese and cinnamon.
