Day dedicated to the art of pottery in Cesuna di Roana, 12 August 2017
On 12 August 2017, at the Museum of Cuchi di Cesuna di Roana, will host the CERAMICS FESTIVAL, a day dedicated to the world ofceramic handicrafts.
From 9.00 to 22.00, teens and adults can learn the art of handling of clay thanks to practical demonstrations of talented artists, who will carry out the traditional Highland cuchi , whistles from various shapes which, according to the customs of the place, donated as a token of love or of friendship.
You can attend also to create vases and maufatti, which will be decorated and baked in a special oven of fiber.
Unfailing mastery of the great Baker Roberto Guerri (Saran). Is cooked in an oven of fiber a high 70 cm sculpture of the artist Diego Paris dedicated to our unforgotten writerMario Rigoni Stern", with the cooperation of many friends.
The event is organized by the Associazione "Amici del Museo of Cuchi of Cesuna" and will be an excellent opportunity to discover the beauty of thelocal crafts, appreciated throughout Italy.
