FEW BUT BONI

It's the 1990s in a small village in the Venetian province. The parish theatre has been rebuilt, but it is likely to remain unused. "philadramatic"), a company that this theatre filled with audiences fascinated by tear-jerking dramas. The veterans of that theatre company, breaking the chains of senility decide, with a moving momentum, to re-found the philosophy. To adapt to the changing tastes of the audience they choose to stage as a work of their "return" a brilliant comedy. They are helped and supported in their project by a local theatrical writer, a woman undoubtedly "of spirit" and by Don Luigi, typical figure of bigoted country pastor and wand. The cement that unites them is the desire to redeem from an existence that has become gray and routine. In the end their efforts are rewarded and they are ready to bring the new work to the stage. But bad luck seems to be keen on the reborn company and just a few hours after the debut two actors are not available due to sudden serious health problems. At first the blow too heavy seems to have crashed the company, which seems determined to throw in the towel, but then with an unexpected reaction of pride, even bad luck is won and, found sitting in the place of the substitutes, you go on stage!
