On Tuesday 25 November 2025, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a symbolic torchlight procession will be held at 6:45 pm, organized by the Municipality of Roana in collaboration with the Pro loco and the Alpini of Canove, to witness and emphasize  the importance of saying NO to violence and all the abuses that there are against the female gender every  day.  ❤️

The departure is scheduled at the square of the Municipal Swimming Pool with arrival at the Palazzetto Polifunzionale di Canove;  followed by a moment of reading and reflection with the actress Rossana Mantese. 

The Councilor for Tourism, Marzia Rigoni comments: "This is a  moment of deep sharing and collective commitment. With  this initiative we want to symbolically illuminate the darkness  of indifference and reiterate that gender-based violence is not a private matter  , but a wound that affects the entire community. The torchlight procession  will be an opportunity to remember the victims, support those who find the  courage to denounce and reaffirm our commitment to  prevention, listening and protection of women's rights. I therefore  invite all citizens to participate, to walk together and to  transform this torchlight procession into a visible sign of solidarity and commitment." 

The torchlight procession is an important moment to remember all the victims  of femicide and all the women who have to face  injustices for no reason every day .
