Fiera Franca Santa Caterina di Lusiana 2016, Almond Festival and tripe, 25/11. Altopiano di Asiago

In honor of the celebrations for the patron Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Friday November 25, 2016 in the homonymous village of Lusiana inAltopiano di Asiago, there will be the traditional Fiera Franca di Santa Caterina, known to many simply as the Almond Blossom Festival and Tripe.

The traditional festival, which will animate the village of Santa Caterina to all day long with Almond Cake stalls and tasting of tripe on the premises and in the marketplace, it's the perfect opportunity to spend a day full of joy and good taste.

New this year a large stand covered and heated in the forecourt of the schools where you will find, in addition to the tripe, a great vegetable soup season, hot rolls, strudel, mulled wine and maroni.
Also this year there will be a rich raffle in aid of kindergarten.

• hours 9.00-22.00 Almond Cake stalls and Traditional market of typical products of the territory, mountain cheeses, salami, honey, grappa, old varieties of fresh local fruits and products ofhandicrafts;
• 14.00-16.00 hours horseback ride for kids at the rock Ranch (at 600 meters from the square);
• from 15.00 to 18.00 hours spectacle of magic, juggling and balloons with the clown Bud;
• from 15.00 to 22.00 hours at the Club Mansion Fincati guided photographic exhibition on the first world war;
• Opening hours 20.00 6° Palio delle Piana; at the sports ground exhilarating feats of strength and skill among the districts;
• hours 21.00 Prize-winning contrada. Followed by music with Dj Malga and Caio blond.

All day you can taste dishes of tripe at local restaurants.

The old cattle fair has become over time the Festival starring the exquisite, fragrant chestnuts and a tasty tripe. Many people, even from the Plains,Plateau rises every year to participate in this party.
