Fiera Franca di Santa Caterina di Lusiana, tripe and Almond Blossom Festival, November 25, 2016 on the Asiago plateau
In honor of the celebrations for the patron Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Friday November 25, 2016 in the homonymous village of Lusiana, on theplateau of Asiago, there will be the traditional Fiera Franca di Santa Caterina, known to many simply as the Almond Blossom Festival and Tripe.
From early morning in the streets and squares seem to relive the atmosphere of theancient fair: banks and merchants, local produce, meats and cheeses, agricultural machinery and the main product of the fair, the Almond, great to keep and give away for Christmas! In the restaurants will serve, hot and steaming, the typical dish of "tripe".
The old cattle fair has become over time a traditional festival, which attracts many people from the Plains andPlateau.
