Sun observation at Asiago Astrophysical Observatory

[DATA_LUNGA]] , an interesting meeting with sun observationwill be held at theAsiago Observatory.

The meeting will start at 10:30,at the pennar headquarters, and will enthuse the participants with theeyewitness observation of the spots and solar bumps (incase of clearskies), visible thanks to the use of two telescopes equipped with special filters.

In addition, the Observatory's expert astronomers will give an interesting lecture on the Sun and itsfeatures, with some historical insights into the observation of the Sun and eclipses.

Reduced: 5 euros for children aged 6 to 11, UNIPD and OAPD employees and students)

During the appointment it will be possible to visit the dome of the telescope "Galileo", except for the periods when the telescope will be in maintenance.

For those who will participate in two or more visits, only the first entrance will be at full price. Heavy clothing is recommended and a front light is to be equipped with. For groups of at least 15 people it is possible to agree with the astronomer the visit at other times
