EXCURSION :
Guided excursion to discover the southeast sector of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities, in lonely and little known places. The excursion will lead us to cross extensive beech forests framed by the grazing areas of some alpine pastures: it will be in these wide open spaces that the panorama will allow us to range with our eyes first towards the northern area of the plateau and then, having arrived at the highest point of the itinerary, also towards the Po Valley-Veneto: from the area it is in fact possible to observe, in case of clear air , much of the underlying plain, from the Adriatic to the distant Apennine mountains. The places are interesting both for the historical events that characterized them, and for the landscape and wildlife aspects. The itinerary always takes place on comfortable forest roads (except for the climb to Montagna Nuova). The return is scheduled for about 2 pm, so packed lunch is recommended.

READING THE DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY:
EASY: The itinerary takes place on forest roads, dirt roads or easy mule tracks always well indicated and without problems of orientation in cases of fog or bad weather. The differences in height are contained within 250-300 meters and the length of the itinerary is within three hours. These are a bit long walks that require a sports hiking shoe, not necessarily the pedula or the boot.
EASY/MEDIUM: The itinerary takes place on forest roads, dirt roads or easy mule tracks always well indicated. The differences in height are contained within 250-400 meters and the length of the itinerary is between 3 - 5 HOURS. These are somewhat long walks that require a hiking sports shoe or boot.
MEDIUM: The itinerary definitely exceeds three hours, it is more complex, takes place on a path with some challenging ascent or descent but passable without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be bumpy or lack signals. However, the maximum altitude difference remains within 400 meters.
MEDIUM/DEMANDING: The itinerary definitely exceeds three hours, it is complex for the difference in height that can reach 700 meters or for the length of the walk up to 6 hours, it takes place on a path with some challenging ascent or descent but passable without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be bumpy or lack signals.
CHALLENGING: These itineraries require long experience, training and physical strength from those who follow them. it is necessary to be able to move with expertise even in dangerous soils: scree, steep slopes or steep stretches, dense scrub, high and unreferenced, passages in rock, absence of springs. The difficulty of the terrain and the distance from the support points require total autonomy. Where indicated there may be a need to bring to the following bivouac material such as the tent, bivouac bag, stove, food, requires training, energy and strong motivation.

WHO WE ARE - HIGHLAND GUIDES
We "Highland Guides" are the first group of professional guides of the Plateau. We are local guides who have been operating on the territory of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities since 2008. The belonging to the place by the members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposed goals and a deeply respectful approach to the environment and its history. Our passions for nature, history and sport have led us to choose a life path based on the study of the environment and local history. Graduates in scientific, tourist and sports subjects such as Forestry and Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences and Motor Sciences we have also specialized in the historical field with courses recognized by the Province of Vicenza. In order to practice professionally, we are regularly enrolled in the professional registers of Environmental Naturalistic Guide (L.R. n. 33 of 2002 of Veneto), or of Medium Mountain Escort (L.R. 23 July 2013, n.18).
