On Saturday, June 1, 2024, the Valmaron Refuge in Enego invites you to take part in an exciting guided e-bike tour entitled "Fort Lisser, the Lion of the Plateau".
The expert guides of the Valmaron e-bike rental will take you on an easy hike to the fort, at 1633 meters above sea level, where the view is truly breathtaking.
Dating back to the period of the First World War and placed to defend the Italian border against the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the fortification has recently been restored and can be visited.
The meeting point is at the suggestive Valmaron Refuge at 8:30 a.m., with departure scheduled for 9:00 a.m. An expert guide will lead you along the paths of the area among the enchanting landscapes of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
On your return, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch at the Valmaron Refuge, where you can relax and share your experiences with the other participants.
The excursion is open to all those who wish to participate, whether they rent an e-bike at the Valmaron Refuge or already have their own. Different prices will apply for different options (see details below).
