Guided excursions
On Sunday, July 18, 2021, the Municipality of Roana,on the occasion of Hoga Zait 2021, the Cimbro Dell'Altopiano Festival,organizes aguided excursion to Roana entitled " HuntingStories".
The interesting morning walk, led by Asiago Guide,will start at 9:30 am with a meeting place at Piazza Santa Giustina in Roana.
The presence of game in our woods has been for centuries a small aid to the poor diet of mountain people. Often they were the only proteins available besides those of milk and cheese...
From an early life we learned to distinguish birds from singing, to know and respect the periods of love, to study the movements of the wild to catch them at the right time.
An art that may have disappeared, but which we will try to convey by admiring the Cimbro landscape among the gentle slopes of Roana also aided by the Latin poem "Finches" which was inspired byhunting activity on these mountains.
INFO AND RESERVATIONS:
All excursions and activities offered are free of charge.
For all hoga zait 2021 activities, reservations are required for organizational purposes while available seats are available.

Maximum 40/45 people,morning excursions from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Easy or medium difficulty easy; age: suitable from 6 years of age, the stroller can only be used at times.
We need a backpack for water or soft drinks enough, hat, layered clothing, necessary footwear suitable for the mountains, anti-Covid equipment according to current legislation.
TO TAKE WITH YOU:
Mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof windproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
