Guided excursions
On Friday, July 16, 2021, the Municipality of Roana,on the occasion of Hoga Zait 2021, the Cimbro Dell'Altopiano Festival,organizes ahike in Canove entitled " Storiesof Cimbre Women".
This beautiful morning walk, led by Asiago Guide,will start at 9:30 am with a hangout at the canove pools.
As is often the case, in official historiography the role of women is in the background. But the work and skills of cimbre women have allowed generations and generations to survive in these mountains.
For example, they were entrusted with herbal knowledge to care for humans and animals in times of need.
The decisive and indomitable character of our mountain men also emerges in a famous episode of the nineteenth century, the tumult of the Cimbre women,where their role was fundamental to connect the two flaps of the Municipality of Roana with the construction of the bridge over the Valdassa.
We will cast our feet along ancient streets today semi-unknical,understand the labors of the time and listen to the testimonies that have come to us about their strength and resourcefulness.

All excursions and activities offered are free of charge.
For all hoga zait 2021 activities, reservations are required for organizational purposes while available seats are available.

Maximum 40/45 people,morning excursions from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Easy or medium difficulty easy; age: suitable from 6 years of age, the stroller can only be used at times.
We need a backpack for water or soft drinks enough, hat, layered clothing, necessary footwear suitable for the mountains, anti-Covid equipment according to current legislation.
TO TAKE WITH YOU:
Mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof windproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
