Guided excursions
On Sunday, July 11, 2021, the Municipality of Roana,on the occasion of Hoga Zait 2021, the Cimbro Dell'Altopiano Festival,organizes aguided excursion entitled " Stories ofcontrade" in Mezzaselva.
The interescent morning walk will be led by Asiago Guide.
The excursion will start at 9:30 am with a meeting place at the mezzaselva sports field.
The various peoples who climbed the Plateau began to cultivate it little by little by clearing the gentle slopes to make fields and pastures.
As the population grew, new settlements were created, characterized not only by more or less colorful names of some family but also by precise identifications to indicate a certain profession present in the district.
The ancient maps include Trujo, Schneidar, Tökkalar, Pajazzen... today Italianized more or less faithfully, these place names tell us past events that testify to the inventiveness and ability of these people along an easy path that will give us multiple emotions.
INFO AND RESERVATIONS:
All excursions and activities offered are free of charge.
For all hoga zait 2021 activities, reservations are required for organizational purposes while available seats are available.

Maximum 40/45 people,morning excursions from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Easy or medium difficulty easy; age: suitable from 6 years of age, the stroller can only be used at times.
We need a backpack for water or soft drinks enough, hat, layered clothing, necessary footwear suitable for the mountains, anti-Covid equipment according to current legislation.
TO TAKE WITH YOU:
Mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof windproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
