Sunday, August 8, 2021 will be held a guided excursion with PLATEAU GUIDES to the Plain of Marcesina,on the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.

EXCURSION :
In the year of the CENTENARY of the BIRTH of our WRITER Mario Rigoni "Stern", we want to pay homage to him with some excursions to the places he loved.
We will cross with an easy excursion the Piana di Marcesina, one of the most important areas in terms of nature in the whole of Veneto. Mario who loved spends his free time in Marcesina, I also dedicate one of his famous phrases:
"But there will still be lovers who on a winter night..." the rest we will find out together during the guided tour.
On October 29, 2018, the Piana, like many other highland woods, was hit by a terrible disaster, "Vaia", the strongest and most devastating cyclone in Italy. Thousands of trees felled by the fury of the winds at almost 200 km/h. During our excursion we will go to see what has been done, what remains to be done and how nature recovers to heal its wounds three years after the catastrophic weather event.
Large and bright spaces, high-altitude peat bogs, views as far as the eye can see and silent clearings will not be lacking. We will be completely immersed in a natural environment of rare beauty, which inspired some of the works of Mario Rigoni "Stern"
