Excursion in the great war Sites with guides, guides Plateau 7 Comuni di Asiago-"The upper area at sunset-EVENING-Susan Hill
After the Austrian occupation occurred in may 1916, the mountain that dominates the Val Galmarara became an important logistical centre. Because of the location set back from the battle front, the mountain Gypsy was almost never directly involved in the fighting although both in July 1916 that in June 1917 Italian departments attempted repeatedly to occupy it.
At the end of the excursion for those there will be the opportunity to stop and have dinner in a mountain hut Galmarara!!
THE EXCURSION PROGRAM:
Scheduled departure at 16.00 from the Bar at the station near the entrance to the Forecourt of the Asiago ice stadium;
Tour duration: half a day

DRESS CODE:
Mountain or trekking shoes, long pants, K-way, hat and sweatshirt.

The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
