The Plateau Guides offerhistorical and naturalistic excursion Round Huts of Rosa Field, Asiago plateau, Wednesday 21 August 2013.
The meeting is set to 09:00 at the Piazzale dello Stadio del ghiaccio di Asiago.
Duration: half-day excursion. FIX: path easy.
The hike is an easy walk through meadows and Woods near some huts to discover how the cheese from Alpine. The guide will talk about how a malga monticata is allocated and managed; How is the life of the malgese; but above all, how it is prepared and Asiago cheeses of our tradition. Passing an appropriate time we will see the cheesemakers make antique gestures like the world using even ccopper aldaie heated with wood, spruce, cheese-carved molds for butter. In the pastures will discover numerous typical Alpine climate grasses, which help the animals to produce a more abundant milk, richer and healthier. There will be tastings in order to finally discover fully the richness of this territory.
Rosa Field: under the gaze of Verena passing places with evocative names: from "the Inferno", passing through the "Tola of Bishop" will arrive at the "Busa Petting". Are among the places less frequented by mass tourism, here passing still trails bordered by secular Stoan Platten, we follow a circuit between huts still monticate and pastures abandoned now, but they still retain their charm.
