Snowshoe hike in places of the great war with the Asiago Plateau-Guides "the Fort of Cima Campolongo-The Strong twin"

The Strong Campolongo, ancient building of the first world war, is located north of the municipality of Rotzo, surrounded by mixed forest and built on steeper slopes of the mountain, in the realm of grey Limestone, fossiliferous and dramatically eroded. The twin Fort Verena, was destroyed and abandoned in 1916. It is now possible to visit the Fort, restored and is no longer unsafe.

THE EXCURSION PROGRAM:

Scheduled departure at 16.00 from the Bar at the station near the entrance to the Forecourt of the Asiago ice stadium;
Tour duration: half a day

Adults: € 10,00
Children up to 15 years: € 5,00
Children up to 6 years, disabled and handicapped persons: free

Cost of snowshoes: 6,00 € until stocks last

DRESS CODE:
Mountain or trekking shoes, long pants, K-way, gloves, fleece CAP and windbreaker.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES:
Stack, trekking poles.

The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
