Saturday 26 August 2017 from 09.00, departing from the parish church of Canove, is scheduled theguided excursion to the graffiti of the mysterious Val d Assa.
The Val d Assa is the deepest Valley incision ofAltopiano dei Sette Comuni. Only recently, following a flood have been found prehistoric engravings, the oldest of which are dated the Millennium BC. These are mainly anthropomorphic, Zoomorphic figures, teomorfe and solar symbols. Fossils have been found prehistoric animal remains and lithic dating to the Middle Paleolithic.
