Historic-naturalistic walk with guide on the Asiago plateau
Guided excursion to Forte Verena Saturday, July 15, 2017. The meeting point is in Piazza Santa Giustina di Roana at 8.30.
The path, to fix media, switches to the following points: Verenetta-cross of Civello-Den-Caseremette-Verena-Verenetta Batteries. Expected life span is 5 hours approximately.
The experts will accompany you to discover one of the symbols of the great war: in fact, since Strong Verenaon the night of 23 and May 24, 1915, he left the gun shot which marked Italy's entry into the war. This military fortress built between 1910-1914 had a great strategic importance for the defence of the Italian border from that of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In addition to the rich history, from here you can enjoy the view over Val d Assa.
In case of bad weather the excursion is cancelled!
