Excursion in the great war with the Asiago Plateau-Guides "The Corbin-overlooking Val D'astico"

Imposing fortified Italian system dating to World War I. It was part of the 3rd sector-Asiago-barrage of Agno-Assa. The Fort dominates a long stretch of the middle of the Val d'astico. Is 1,096 meters above the sea, right overlooking Val d'astico.It is a specific type of fortified according to the canons more ' modern ' war of position of the beginning of the century.

It was originally armed with 6 guns from 149/A revolving steel domes, other pieces from 75/27 were positioned on the pillboxes and country stations. The excursion will take us through the pastures surrounding Fort enjoying an incomparable panorama over the plateau, brokered by the warm lights of the day by mid-August. The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
