Excursion in the great war with Guide-Plateau Asiago plateau 7 Comuni-and "strong Verena-towards the preparations"
From Strong Verena, on 24 May 1915, left two shots ringing, metallic, lacerating that crossed the sky singing the war cry! The Italy enter into war against Austria's former ally. The Spitz Verle responding and defending the Fort Verena firing 20 shots but nothing, the shots too short not reaching the plateau, ruler of the place up too high!
The situation at Fort Verle was not between the best and the Giebermann officer having grossed approximately 130 shots from 280 mm gave the order to abandon the Fort. But there was indeed a need to make such a choice?

Scheduled departure at 09.00 from the Bar at the station near the entrance of the stadium Forecourt Asiago ice;

The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
