Guided excursions
Excursion in the great war with the Asiago Plateau-Guides "1918-the battles of the three mountains"
After the battle of Melette of 1917, the Austrians had forced Italian troops to fall back on a new line that rested on the heights of Echar, Valbella, Col del Rosso and Col of Ecchele.
On 23 December 1917 the Austrians of III Corps managed to break through the line occupying the Valbella, continuing beyond Melago. In January the 14° bersaglieriBrigade, attempted to attack from Valbella to Malga Stenfle without, however, achieving results.
We will accompany you along the line of the Italian resistance to understand the events in December 1917 until the end of World War II.

Meeting scheduled for the hours 09.00 from the bar at the station near the entrance to the forecourt of the Asiago ice stadium;
Duration of the excursion: full day

Mountain or trekking shoes, long pants, K-way, hat and sweatshirt.

The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
