Excursion in the great war Sites with guides, guides Plateau 7 Comuni di Asiago-"Mount Paù"
The trail runs along the western edge of the "maximum line resistance" or Front South of the great war, an ideal barrier containing the Imperial Army on the mountains at bastion of the Venitian plain.
The trail begins about 1250 m in "Holes of Cangrejo", karst depressions engaged some pasture huts in which was located the British command in the latter part of the conflict. Arrived in the Observatory of Paù Nozzle up to 1417 Cima del Gallo (monte Paù), touching many points of historical interest (trenches, tunnels, gun emplacements), numerous natural balconies allow for pleasant breaks admiring the final part of the Astico Valley, mount Summano, small Dolomites, and the plain you see countries and cities, and if time permitseven la laguna.
THE EXCURSION PROGRAM:
Meeting point and departure 09.00 hours for the Bar at the station near the entrance to the Forecourt of the Asiago ice stadium;

The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
