With this release we will discover the life of the Shepherd, who has been working from the Alpine pastures in the mountains north of the Asiago plateau. An adventure that accompanies our hikers to see working dogs while lead and move the entire flock, while on the other hand, the shepherd who garbled with manual accompanied by mottoes gestures to us, order what to do with their dogs. A symbiosis that has been handed down from generations to generations, both for working dogs, both for families of shepherds.
The life of vagantivo today has become more difficult as a result of the presence of the Wolf that aims, in an almost constant, to prey on sheep. So, as a result of the presence of this predator, the pastor of Highland had to equip themselves with guarding dogs, such as the shepherds maremmano Abruzzese who face and fight if attacked by wolves, often moving them away. A challenge and a difficult cohabitation.
All these issues are very often unknown to the majority of the population, the goal that we aim is to transmit knowledge, but also those wonderful emotions.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXCURSION
Meeting point:
10.00 hours to the military Memorial of Leiten, at Wunderbar (Heroes ' square), or 9.45 piazzale di via station at Cesuna.
Displacement: with their own transport.
Duration: full day.
Difficulty: 3 on a scale from 1 (easy) to 5 (Advanced).
To take with you
Mountaineering boots, clothing in layers, water for the duration of the excursion, lunch bag.
