GOAL: Canove – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
This event is part of the Hoga Zait Manifestation – the festival of Cimbrian culture.
Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Canove and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
Walking along the paths of primitive man and the cave bear (Ursus spelaeus), we discover how the Valdassa and the Ghelpach Valley have always been frequented throughout history.
Places with toponyms such as Shaff Kugela, a natural canopy that was for centuries a shelter for flocks, Vivartal and Chèrar remind us of the importance for the Cimbri of these connecting routes for goods and men, for trade and migrations between the Po Valley and beyond the Alps.
Not only a journey through history, but also an immersion in the nature of the mountain valleys where you immerse yourself in mixed forests of extraordinary beauty, and where the voice of birds greeting the sun echoes and the scent of flowers envelops us.
The excursion ends at 21:00 at Bisele, where a show will take place at the end of which the return on foot will be carried out in company.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads, mountain paths and some short stretches of asphalt road with little traffic.
The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, possible blanket to sit at the next show, headlamp ..
