"A small homeland between great scenarios of collective history and individual microcosms..." from The Plateau of the Seven Municipalities
On the occasion of the Hoga Zait festival we will travel along ancient roads and paths that for centuries have connected the districts, pastures and communities of the Cimbrian Land with the territories of the plains.
Crossing Treschè Conca and reaching splendid panoramic points, we will discover how men and women moved before the arrival of the "modern" roads, following paths handed down over time and deeply intertwined with the daily life of the community.
We will retrace the paths traveled by shepherds with their flocks, by horsemen with wood, by women who reached springs and washhouses and by all those who, with their work, have contributed to building the identity of the Plateau.
A journey through landscape, culture and memory to understand how this "Cimbrian Island" has remained over the centuries a place of meeting, exchange and relationship with the world around it.

This event is part of the cultural event Hoga Zait, the Cimbrian festival co-financed by the municipal administration of Roana and organized in collaboration with the pro loco of Treschè Conca.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and some short stretches of paved road with little traffic.
The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long pants are strongly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
