GOAL: Contrade di Roana – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)

This event is part of the Hoga Zait Manifestation – the festival of Cimbrian culture.

Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Roana and the Municipal Administration of Roana.

How are our countries born? It all started with brave and willing people who, leaving their native land, opened up to the sound of hatchets and saws, new pastures, new crops, new spaces for houses and roads. 
On the right bank of the Assa, protected by the Kestele and the Biskale, quenched by the Rendela, the first village of Roana was born, more or less below the current Piazza. 

Soon it stretches in other directions, all higher than the original nucleus: here is the Roana di Sopra – de Lentle Obar Robaan. 

Step by step you will discover ancient paths, centuries-old stories, spectacular views...   Before returning to the village for the closing party of the Cimbrian festival, of this "high time" – "Hoga Zait"!

Reservations are mandatory. 

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads, mountain paths and some short stretches of asphalt road with little traffic. 

The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, possible blanket to sit at the next show, headlamp ..
