HOP-HOP show of Simone Romano cuCu Mittewald Festival, Asiago plateau, August 24, 2014
Sunday 24 August 2014 to hours 17.00 in Piazza dei Cimbri to Mittewald di Roana, Asiago plateau, there will be indulged in street Hop-hop presented by artist Simon Romano, in the exhibition cuCu Roan 2014 Festival.
HOP-HOP
Hop-Hop is a show based on the circus arts, the clowns play and interaction with the public. Circus techniques used are the juggling, the verticalism, the manipulation and the clownish game. The choice not to use the Word carries the show on a gestural and Visual level, allowing the spectator to enter without contact with the artist and with his imaginary world.
Simone Romano
I was born in Rome, in 1978, from a family that has ever made me not miss anything and who always gave me love and support in my choices, even at times a little harebrained.
I made my entry into the world of circus and juggling at the age of 19 years, where I began to create my first jugglingroutine.
Very quickly my hobby became a passion, so much so that in 2001 I decided to abandon my studies in natural sciencesat the Sapienza University of Rome, to join the circus school Carampa to Madrid and follow courses of acrobatics, juggling, aerial techniques and games of clowns.
During the years of school I participated in various productions in both individual and collective. I worked with conductors such as Mick Barnfather, Joice Henderson, FZ Company, The Kosh Company and I created two solo numbers, Such a perfect date and Toilet Play After a Dream.
In 2007 I had the opportunity to pass a tough but rewarding season with Circus Monti, one of the best Swiss circuses, which blends its roots of traditional circus joining them to the new circus Theatre, under the direction of Masha Dimitri.
Just finished this season with the circus, I met Kai Leclerc, with which I started working with the number of Flying Plane. After about 150 performances in China and Indonesia and programming for 3 months atHansa Theater of Hamburg, I returned to Europe to create a new show for the street festival. The baby is called Hop Hop and relies on techniques of clown and circus, whose earlier version had a considerable success in Italy during the summer 2009.

From Thursday 21 to Sunday August 24, 2014 in the hamlets of Roana, Asiago plateau, cuCu Festival will be held: various mobile entertainment with jugglers, puppeteers, magicians, acrobats, fire comedy and much more.
