Destination: Malghe dell'Altopiano dei Sette Comuni

Knowing a territory and its events, helps a lot in reading the landscape, understanding where it originates and guessing how it will evolve ... Step by step, following the path created between the historical and forest paths of Monte Lemerle, we will talk about Vaia, its impact on the environment and on the inhabitants. The destruction first and then the reconstruction... exactly as it was with the Great War.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops starting from the town of Cesuna on a few short stretches of paved road, mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.

COST: 5€ for the guided excursion.

Moving by own vehicle on a 20-minute dirt road.
