
On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., at the Institute of Cimbrian Culture in Roana, via R. Sartori 20, the meeting "Africa between conflicts, recession and political decline. What are the consequences for Italy and Europe?".
The protagonist of the meeting will be Giorgio Spagnol, retired Major General of the Italian Army and expert in geopolitics and international politics, who currently collaborates with various cultural realities and universities, holding lectures and conferences dedicated to global crisis areas, migration flows and social changes in post-conflict contexts.
The evening will offer an opportunity to reflect on the main dynamics affecting the African continent, analyzing the economic, social and political repercussions that these phenomena can also have on Italy and Europe.
Through a reading of current events and the changes underway in the international scenario, the meeting aims to provide useful tools to better understand a complex and constantly evolving context, stimulating discussion and public participation.
