THE BOOK

THE AUTHOR DANIELE ZOVI
Daniele Zovi was born in Roana, on the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, and grew up in Vicenza. He graduated in Forestry Sciences in Padua and for forty years served in the State Forestry Corps, first as an officer and then as a manager. In 2017 he was appointed brigadier general of the Carabinieri-Forestry Command of Veneto and is one of the leading experts in the field of wild animals, author of several treatises on the subject.
For Utet he published Alberi sapienti, antiche foreste (2018), Italia selvatica (2019) and Autobiografia della neve (2020).
For De Agostini he has published two books of fiction for children, Ale and Rovere. The Fantastic Journey of the Trees (2020) and Ale and the Wolves. To the scorperta of the animals of the forest (2021).
