Jiries Boullata concert Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt in Canove, Saturday April 14, 2012
Saturday, April 14, 2012 theArtemusica Culture Association offers the concert of young Palestinian pianist Jiries Boullata.
During the evening, which will take place at the Council Hall of the municipality of Canove, will perform works by Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt.
The concert will begin at 21:00 hours, admission free.
Jiries Boullata is a pianist, born in Jerusalem in 1986. He began studying piano at the age of nine years ' with the ' Magnificat ' of Jerusalem. He graduated in 2007 and earned the master (two years) in 2011 at the Conservatory of Vicenza's a. Pedrollo ' with full marks and honours under the leadership of Marco Tezza. He followed courses and master classes with many great pianists including Daniel Barenboim, Filippo Gamba, and Christiane Montandon.
Boullata has won numerous piano competitions and awards including the " Charles Tavasani " piano competition in 2000 to 2004 editions by award ' in 2003 Qattan Foundation ', ' Premio Vallesina ' in 2006, the awards ' Palio di Siena ' (2007), ' Rome for Jerusalem ' (2009) and University Popolare di Milano Prize ' (2011). Boullata has performed concerts in the United States in Palestine and in several cities of Italy including Rome ', Padua, Vicenza, Treviso, Cremona, Siena, Ancona, Pesaro, Bassano del Grappa, Belluno and Milan. Boullata currently teaches piano and music theory at the Institute ' Magnificat ' and at the National Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem and Ramallah; is the piano accompanist Yasmeen ' choir '.
Some music critics have appreciated for his personality as performer and his improvisation. Wrote various works; his songs for boys were published by ' ' ' ' Magnificat Institute for the annual festival ' Magic Lantern '.
In 2008 Boullata graduated in architecture and urbanism at the University of Birzeit specialization: a perspective for uniting the arts of music and ' architecture.
