
From Thursday, May 30 to Sunday, June 2, 2024, the splendid setting of Malga Col del Vento in Kan Züne, Cesuna di Roana, in Perghele, hosts "The Shepherds' Plateau," a unique event dedicated to the discovery of the ancient pastoral traditions of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
Four days of celebration to get to know sheep and shepherds up close, with a program full of interesting activities (FIND OUT MORE BELOW).
The festival, organized by Malga Col del Vento, offers numerous opportunities to deepen the knowledge of pastoral practices, thanks to meetings and conferences held by experts in the field. Visitors will also be able to participate in sheep shearing workshops, an ancient ritual that is repeated every spring and autumn.
and there will be moments of conviviality with gastronomic tastings of typical products of the Plateau, which include cheeses, cold cuts, the tasty mutton stew and other delicacies prepared in the malga.
On Sunday, June 2, it will also be possible to admire and buy wool artifacts, the result of the shepherds' craftsmanship.
An ideal event for families, nature and tradition enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to live an authentic and engaging experience.
Participation in the festival is free, but reservations are required.

Typical market with products born from the artisanal processing of wool.
