" L ' rainbow of stars " spectroscopy laboratory, Observatory of Asiago, Thursday August 30, 2012
The 'Asiago Observatory, located in locality Pennar, proposes meeting entitled ' l "L ' rainbow of stars" the day Thursday, August 30, 2012.
It is a spectroscopy lab aimed at children (from 12 years of age or older) and adults, beginning at 16:00.
Spectroscopy, also known as "the Queen of Astrophysics '", has developed the knowledge of celestial bodies, allowing to study the chemical composition, pressure, temperature, speed of movement and direction.
This science has facilitated not just the work of astronomers and has become the main tool for discovering new planets extra solar.
Participants, assisted by the staff of the ' Observatory, will also make some observations of Spectra.
