Wednesday, August 2, 2023, you can spend an evening immersed in the history and flavors of the Asiago plateau. 

The Corbin Fort, in Treschè Conca di Roana, will be the stage of a unique event: "1914-1948 - The Woman between the Two Great Wars".

The evening will begin at 18:00 with a guided tour of the fort, an unmissable opportunity to discover a place rich in history and charm. 

This will be followed by a "dinner in history", with a fixed menu that includes: typical dish with polenta, sopressa and cheese, water, craft beer "del Forte", dessert and coffee.

The evening will be enriched by an interesting in-depth analysis by Romeo Covolo, a historian from the plateau, who has dedicated over a year of research to the reconstruction of the private, human, family and social state in which women found themselves living between 1914 and 1948.

Through an analysis supported by numerous images, Covolo will trace a path that starts from the first signs of women's emancipation and then passes through the war and civil support during the First World War, which allowed women to taste personal and social freedom. It will then deal with the involution that that brief freedom has undergone during the Fascist period, to then regain strength and value during the Second World War. There will also be a discussion of the role of women in the Constituent Assembly, so that our Republic would also be born in the sign of women.

The event has a participation fee of € 25. 

Places are limited and reservations are required.

Appropriate clothing is recommended for evening mountain temperatures.
