GOAL: Fort Lisser in the Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Immerse yourself in a fascinating excursion that will take you to discover Fort Lisser, a place full of history and charm.
What to expect:
- History and nature: An excursion that combines the passion for history with the beauty of nature.
- Fort Lisser: an imposing fortification overlooking the valley nicknamed the Lion of the Plateau that we will visit from the outside of the structure.
- Breathtaking views: admire spectacular views of the Dolomites and from the Lagorai to the Pale di San Martino.
- The effects of the Great War and Vaia: observe the signs left by historical events that have marked this territory.
- Relaxation surrounded by nature: we cross beech and fir woods and pastures and have a packed lunch and a few tastings of local products together to experience this area with all our senses!
Reservations are required.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. The uphill elevation gain is less than 350 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses, PACKED LUNCH.
🫰COST: €25 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €15 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
