DESTINATION: Val Formica - Larch Area - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
In summer, Val Formica is one of the most popular areas for mountain pastures and even more so for the products of the mountain huts. During the winter season it becomes one of the most magical destinations to experience the charm of the high mountains with all that it entails: breathtaking views, snow-capped peaks, enchanted woods.
Snowshoeing in this area you will have the opportunity to admire a splendid panorama towards the Alpine chain, follow the tracks of wild animals and discover the history of these places touched by the arrival of the Cimbri, the Great War and more...

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO TAKE WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, head torch (recommended with a fixed red light).
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
