On Saturday 11 January 2025, at 20:00, the Millepini Theater in Asiago will host an unmissable event for lovers of classical music: "The Pastoral – The Invention of Romantic Nature", a concert dedicated to the famous Symphony No. 6 in F major Op. 68 by Ludwig van Beethoven, also known as "Pastoral".
The protagonist of the evening will be the Orchestra Crescere in Musica, conducted by maestro Sergio Gasparella, with the special participation of Eugenio Radin.
This event represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of nature evoked by the symphony, a masterpiece that celebrates the relationship between man and the natural world through the power of musical language.
The "Pastoral" Symphony
Composed between 1807 and 1808, Symphony No. 6 is one of Beethoven's most highly regarded works, in which the author explores his spiritual connection to nature. The five sections of the song take the listener on a sensory journey through bucolic landscapes, country dances and a sudden storm, ending with a feeling of gratitude and peace. The Pastoral is not only a tribute to nature, but also an innovative work that anticipates the aesthetics of Romanticism.
The Orchestra Growing in Music
The Orchestra Crescere in Musica is a youth ensemble born within the "Crescere in Musica APS" project. After years of activity with chamber music groups, the orchestra was formed to offer young musicians the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the classical symphonic repertoire. The orchestra's repertoire focuses mainly on music from the Baroque and Classical periods, without neglecting twentieth-century and contemporary compositions. Among the pieces addressed are works by Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi and many other important composers.
