On Tuesday 27 October 2026, at 16:00, the Palazzetto di Canove di Roana, on the Asiago Seven Municipalities Plateau, will host the meeting "Safety has no age: together against scams", an event dedicated to the prevention of scams and the protection of the elderly, promoted by the Municipality of Roana and the Pro Loco Canove.

The meeting will be led by Chief Marshal Pasquale Sicuranza, Commander of the Carabinieri Station of Canove, who will illustrate the main types of scams and the methods most frequently used by criminals, providing concrete indications to promptly recognize the warning signs and adopt appropriate behavior.

Particular attention will be paid to the safety of the elderly, who are often targeted through misleading phone calls, false requests for money and other stratagems designed to take advantage of people's trust.

Through practical advice and useful information, the meeting will offer participants tools to protect themselves, their families and the most vulnerable people, helping to spread greater awareness of the risks and importance of prevention.

The initiative represents an important opportunity for information and awareness for all citizens, remembering how knowing the dangers and knowing how to recognize them is the first step to defend oneself from scams.

Free admission.
