Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00 am, LeMelette Outdoor Experience organizes a fascinating educational farm experience for families during which you will go on a guided tour of the organic breeding of laying hens and have a snack with the eggs of the day.
Details of the petting zoo experience
This guided tour will accompany you to discover the secret life of the chicken coop and will lead you to discover organic breeding. The search for animal welfare, a varied and sustainable diet, the care and attention in the collection, are the basis of a high quality product: the mountain eggs of the Bio Fattoria.
A sensory journey and a healthy snack, accompanied by fascinating legends and scientific curiosities, will turn the spotlight on the protagonist of the day: the egg!

THE PROGRAM
- 10.00 am: Welcome and visit to the laying hen farm
- 10.30 am: Rustic egg snack
- 11.00 am: The importance of animal nutrition
- 11.30 am: Greetings to the donkeys Nora, Ares, Coco and Pimpi, and presentation of their physical and ethological characteristics.

- Comfortable clothing: long pants and shoes with non-smooth soles (hiking boots or shoes) mandatory.
