On Sunday 28 September 2025, at 11:30 am, the center of Asiago will once again be the stage for an ancient rite: transhumance, one of the most evocative events of the highland autumn.

The event will see the passage in the heart of the city of the herd of Malga Pian di Granezza, managed by the Pezzin Mirko Farm, returning from the mountain pastures to the stables, under the curious and admiring gaze of visitors and residents. 

It is a unique opportunity to experience a tradition that combines work, peasant culture and the bond with the land, in a moment that is always exciting and full of meaning.

The transit will culminate with the delivery of the traditional "ciocca", the large bell that is assigned to the guide cow of the herd.

Citizens are invited to participate in this event, which attracts a large number of participants every year, offering a precious opportunity to rediscover and enhance the cultural and rural roots of the Asiago Plateau.
