Guided nature-cultural candlelight walk with Asiago Guide - 4444 steps

The route begins at a magical mountain village: Sasso di Asiago that we leave behind to descend at sunset along a path that crosses beech and carpini forests,a small gravel and leads us to Valstagna.
Uphill we will face the 4444 stone steps, already traveled who knows how many times by goods, people and animals... a unique historical heritage!!
Step by step we walk along this ancient street by candlelight, reviving the suggestion of a night of old times, discovering how this street connected the Brenta Valley with the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities telling the traditions and culture of local commerce over the centuries.
The ascent will also be cheered by the narration of a legend about love and brotherhood, the story of Loretta and Nicholas,periphrasing of all troubled love, but able to overcome all difficulties.
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
For those who want at the end of the event you can dine in company at the pizzeria at Calà with round-pizza and average drink at 12 euros per person.
DIFFICULT: We assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).
The route is ring-like and does not present any particular technical difficulties, but requires a minimum of physical preparation and familiarity with hiking in the mountain environment. The descent develops between a few short stretches of paved road, dirt roads and mountain paths, as you climb the ancient staircase of the Calà del Sasso. The uphill difference is less than 650 m, there is only one short exposed section.
FROM PORT WITH Self: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, cap.
COST: 20 euros for the guided lantern excursion.
