Friday 9 September 2022 from 9.30 to 16.00
Destination: Brustolà
We leave for a refreshing walk in a forest visibly marked by the First World War, just as attested by the trenches still visible and we arrive at an old quarry. This is the entrance to a labyrinth still unpublished: the Brustolà. Its natural origin is due to the phenomenon of karst, just like for the most famous Castelloni di San Marco. On the excursion we will understand how they were formed and how they were used over time, not least the use during the First World War, which saw in these rocky spurs an excellent refuge for soldiers and for mountain artillery. The route will be scenic at 360 °, crossing the labyrinth we will be able to enjoy the view of new and unexpected panoramas, first of all the one on the plain of Marcesina that appears to our eyes with all its diversity and landscape riches.
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and a labyrinth of rock. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 400 m.
