GOAL:  Monte Meatta - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Following the Portule Valley we live a regenerating experience of immersion in the nature of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni. Our steps are accompanied by paths little frequented by a succession of plays of light between woods and clearings. From beech and fir woods, and then larch we reach the pastures of Malga Portule, a place where time seems to have stopped and which has many stories to tell: from the life of the Malghesi that have followed one another over the years, to those of very particular plants such as the pinguicola.

Even the signs of the presence of wild animals, such as the alpine hare, the ermine and the imperial crow will not be long in coming to note. We then come to the Area of Monuments and The Hague of the Bear to discover how the Great War changed these places. 

The return develops along a simple dirt road where we will meet Malga Meatta, another place to discover! We are waiting for you!

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 600 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, PACKED LUNCH.

COST: 10€ for the guided excursion.

MEETING POINT: 9.30 am at the parking lot in front of the Church of Camporovere - Parish of San Giovanni Battista 36010 Camporovere VI -

10 minutes transfer by own vehicle on a necessary dirt road.
