Destination: the mountains of Asiago (VI)
In an evocative atmosphere that recalls nights of other times, the dim light of lanterns makes its way through us.
We relive the experience of past people: herdsmen, soldiers, smugglers or simple lovers who had to move at night without the comforts of our days that we often take for granted.
Crossing a wonderful mountain forest, to reach a viewpoint and enjoy a sparkling panorama.
The return to the pastures will reserve us a unique experience, to discover the legends and traditions of the Cimbrian culture, the glow of candles, will lead us into a world of magic.
Reservations are mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence of ice/snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves.
COST: €20 for the guided candlelight excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
MEETING POINT: 5.30 p.m. near Asiago. Precise information on the meeting place will be communicated to those booked the day before the event.
