April 25 in Asiago - Ceremony for the 76th anniversary of liberation
On April 25, 2021,on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Liberation, the Municipality of Asiago organizes a ceremony of commemoration to renew its commitment to strengthen day after day the idealsof freedom, justice and democracy in the memory of all those who sacrificed themselves to set us free, giving their lives.
In full compliance with the provisions in force, theceremony, which will start at 11 am,will take place again this year remaining each at home,distant but united in the conviction of a community that does not want to forget its history even at such a difficult time.
Italy, which emerged from the tragic events of the last war, is a democracy in which freedom is an indispensable value, a commitment and a wealth to be transmitted to future generations. On this day dedicated to the commemoration and remembrance of theFallen for Freedom, the city of Asiago wants to make a strong appeal for peace among peoples and peaceful coexistence in solidarity and mutual respect.
The ceremony IS NOT OPEN to public participation following covid-19 restrictions
Citizens are asked to display the tricolor sharing the memory of the Asian Fallen for Freedom.
