Saturday, June 3, 2017 the Lusiana Museum organises aliterary excursion about places of the great war.
II forest surrounding the plain of Grandeur, mysterious and untouched for decades, memories and testimonies of the largest war ever fought on these areas. ln this theatre of World War I met soldiers from four different countries: Italians, Frenchmen and Englishmen, together against the austro-Hungarianarmy.
A suggestive experience, through a real leap forward in time, will take you along trenches, trenches and tunnels hidden and relive firsthand the places where written the history of the 20th century.
PROGRAM
- 08.45 Hangout at the info point at the beginning of the large car park Monte Corno
- 09.00 departure guided tour through the lines of resistance with visit to British and French cemeteries
- 12.00 end of path with return to the place of departure
- 12.15 lunch granted affiliated clubs of San Lorenzo
