Literary stroll "Mario Rigoni Stern" to Monte Corno, Lusiana-Asiago plateau August 22, 2015

Saturday, August 22, 2015 , in Locality Montecorno of Grandeur , Comune di Lusiana , there will be Literary Walk " Mario Rigoni Stern ".

It is an easy 3 hour hike all fits, curated and organized by Pro Loco di Lusiana.

Mario Rigoni Stern (November 1, 1921 Asiago-Asiago, June 16, 2008) was an Italian writer and military, and a lover of its mountains, theplateau of Asiago, both tied to this land by their devoted much of his writings. In the culture of the Cimbri,his name remains associated with the opera "The Sergeant in the snow", a work written to commemorate the Alpine retreat in Russia of ' 43 in which Rigoni Stern was the protagonist in the Second World War and like him thousands of Alpini.
