Hike in places of nature with guides Altopiano di Asiago-"Andr Slapeur and Alpine Meadows to Monte Fior Foza:"-Foza

Exhibition "ANDAR PER MALGHE" nature of the plateau

The hike is an easy walk between meadows and Woods near some huts to see how Alpine cheese.

The guide will talk about how a malga is assigned, monticata and managed; of what happens in the life of malgese; but especially on how it is prepared the Asiago cheese and other cheeses of our tradition.

Turning to the appropriate time we'll see the dairymen make gestures such as the world still using copper kettles heat with wood, spruce, carved butter moulds moulds. In the pastures we will discover numerous herbs typical of the Alpine climate, which helps the animals to produce a more abundant milk, richer and healthier.

Finally there will be tastings in order to discover the richness of this territory thoroughly.

READING The DEGREE Of Difficulty:

EASY: The route takes place on forest roads, dirt roads or easy trails always well stated and without orientation problems in case of fog or bad weather. The slopes are within the 250-300 metres and the length of the route is included in three hours. It is a little long walks requiring a sports shoe, not necessarily the lightweight boot or boot.

The Association "Plateau" first Association of guides of the plateau, consists of local guides that operate on the territory of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni since 2008.  Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are mountain professionals recognized and enrolled in the province of Vicenza; they propose to accompany busloads of people hiking and tours around the area, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002 and according to the laws of the professional bodies of which fan part.
